The Craniofacial service is a national public service accepting referrals from medical professionals, including Consultant Paediatricians, Neonatologists, Neurosurgeons, GPs, and Area Medical Officers.
Conditions We Treat
Referrals are accepted for:
- Craniosynostosis (single suture & craniofacial syndromes)
- Torticollis
- Growth disorders (e.g., congenital micrognathia)
- Facial clefts
- Facial asymmetry
- Encephaloceles
- Craniofacial tumours
How to Refer to the National Paediatric Craniofacial Centre:
- Complete electronic referral form, press download to save referral for your patient file and then submit.
- Six photographs are required for a head shape referral. An automated link will be sent to you the referring doctor by email and the parent/guardian by email and text message on submission of referral.
- Please ensure email address and phone number used are correct and active.
- The referring doctor will receive a confirmation email once the referral and photos are submitted.
- Please provide feedback on our new referral system.
- Referrals will only be processed once photographs are received.
- Submit photographs within 72 hours of referral submission, to avoid rejection.
